Access to Exceptional Stones

Our Sourcing Capabilities

Diamonds – We source diamonds across the full spectrum of quality grades, from commercial to investment-grade stones. Whether you need precisely matched melee for pavé work, certified center stones for engagement pieces, or rare fancy colored diamonds, we work within your specifications for the four Cs, fluorescence, and cut quality. All diamonds can be accompanied by certification from GIA, AGS, IGI, or other recognized gemological laboratories as required.

Colored Gemstones – Our network includes specialists in both traditional precious stones (sapphires, rubies, emeralds) and rarer collector gems. We source from reputable suppliers who provide transparency about treatments, origin, and quality. For period reproduction work or designs requiring specific material characteristics, we can locate stones that match historical cutting styles or unusual specifications.

Pearls and Organic Materials – We maintain connections with suppliers of fine South Sea, Tahitian, and Japanese Akoya pearls, as well as sources for coral, amber, and other organic materials when projects demand them.

How We Work With Your Material Needs

Specification-Driven Sourcing – Provide us with your exact requirements—size, quality grade, color parameters, certification needs—and we'll present options that meet your criteria. We source to your specifications, not ours.

Material Consultation – If you're uncertain about optimal stone selection for a particular design, our bench jewelers can advise on size-to-design proportions, durability considerations for setting styles, and quality trade-offs that affect both appearance and budget.

Client-Supplied Materials – Many of our manufacturing clients prefer to source their own stones or work with family stones for custom commissions. We're equally comfortable working with materials you provide, and our team can assess stones for setting suitability and flag any concerns before work begins.

Verification and Documentation – All sourced stones can be independently verified and certified. We coordinate with gemological laboratories for grading reports, origin certification, and appraisal documentation as needed for high-value pieces.

Ethical Sourcing Standards

We work exclusively with suppliers who adhere to the Kimberley Process for diamonds and who can provide transparency about gemstone origin and treatment. For clients with specific ethical sourcing requirements—such as Canadian diamonds, traceable sapphires, or lab-grown alternatives—we can accommodate those specifications.

Integration With Manufacturing

Our sourcing service is designed to streamline your manufacturing process. When we source stones for a project we're manufacturing, we can set them immediately upon arrival, reducing turnaround time and eliminating the coordination of shipping materials between multiple parties. For projects where you're sourcing separately, we provide technical specifications for stone dimensions and tolerances to ensure proper fit before setting begins.
